Help understanding Garruk's Horde.
Asked by TIMMSY7 11 years ago
I am having a little bit of trouble understanding this cards ability. I understand I am playing with the top card of my deck reviled and that I can cast that creature as normal or if it has flash, when ever I want. But, when I start my next turn do I then draw the reviled card and then revile the next top card or do I stick to the top card that was reviled first until that card is then played?
Thanks.

Also note that if for some reason you would draw multiple cards at once (for example when you cast Divination ), you reveal each individual card you draw despite the fact that all the card drawing happens because of a single spell.

You cannot cast the creature as though it had flash. The reminder text on Garruk's Horde specifically says Do this only any time you could cast that creature card. You still pay the spell's costs. You could only cast the creature at Instant speed if it actually had Flash.

@Denial048: You've missed the last part of the sentence: I understand I am playing with the top card of my deck reviled and that I can cast that creature as normal or if it has flash, whenever I want.
It is however true that even in its entirety, the statement is not completely correct. If a creature card has flash, you may not play it whenever you want, but only whenever you have priority.

As I just said in another Q&A, I have been drinking. I have just noticed the or in TIMMSY's text, which makes my text redundant.

Please link cards to make it easier for people to read and offer help.
Garruk's Horde
The card is still the top card of your library whether it's revealed or not, and it's treated as such. When you draw a card, you draw the top card of your library. In this case, this means the revealed card. The new top card of your library is then revealed.
