Grim Haruspex and Reaper of the Wilds triggers resolving

Asked by tehhoff 9 years ago

If I have a Grim Haruspex and Reaper of the Wilds on the board with 2 other creatures. Then I Crux of Fate would I be able to scry then draw, or scry and if i do not like it scry again?

My Main question here is can I choose what to do as things are resolving? or do I need to choose an order the abilities trigger before resolving any of the triggers? Then resolve them as chosen?

Example: Same scenario as above.. I choose scry then draw, draw then scry, then draw

As I start resolving these abilities can I change it to scry, then scry again, then draw then draw again, then draw again? or do I have to resolve them the initial way I called it?

You choose the order of the triggers as they're put onto the stack. After Crux of Fate resolves you make all the decisions for ordering the triggers, and you won't get an option to rearrange them later.

You will scry 1 three times and draw three times and you can decide the order in which you do these actions. All creatures die at the same time and "see" each other dying, so all these abilities trigger at the same time and you can put them on the stack i whichever order you want.

However, you need to decide the order when the triggers are being put on the stack. You cannot change the order once the abilities have been put on the stack and start resolving.
