Glacial Chasm

With Glacial Chasm it says cumulative upkeep- pay two life. Sack a land. So does that mean every time its my upkeep i pay two life? or pay two life and sack a land?

Glacial Chasm has the CU cost "pay two life." It also has an ETB ability that says "when ~ enters the battlefield, sacrifice a land." Notice that the ETB ability is separate (and is on a separate line) from the cumulative upkeep cost. The cumulative upkeep only requires you to pay life.

also notable, every time it's your upkeep, you add an age counter to it then pay 2 life for each age counter on it or sacrifice it. You cannot pay for only some of them.

Basically the way it works is that there is a one-time cost when Glacial Chasm enters that battlefield of sacrificing a land that happens immediately when it comes into play.
Then on your next upkeep you will place 1 age counter on it and then pay 2 life for each age counter on it. On your next upkeep you will add an age counter bringing the total age counters to 2, then you will have to pay a total of 4 life, (2 life per age counter * 2 age counters). And so on...
Also notice that "paying life" or "loss of life" is not the same as damage in case there is any confusion there. You will still be able to lose life if someone plays Sign in Blood targeting you even with Glacial Chasm in play.

You would only sack a land when it enters the battlefield and every upkeep you just pay 2 life.
