would [Archbond] gain you life from Soulfire Grand Master? The wording on Archbond is throwing me off. I would say no, but want a second opinion. Thanks in advance.

[Archbond] - (Choose target creature. whenever that creature is dealt damage this turn,it deals that much damage to each other creature and each player.)

I would say no, as the spell isn't doing any damage, but giving a creature a kind of reverse lifelink.

i would say no too since it is the creature thats doing the damg and not a sorcery or instant spell.

if the creature had lifelink then you would gain life from it i think but other than that no u would not gain life from it
