Flood counters with different functions
Asked by lendrick 11 years ago
I know that could be a dumb question... but, if I have a Quicksilver Fountain that turns all lands with a flood counter on it in islands, and then cast Aquitect's Will on another land this land who i cast Aquitect's Will is a island or a is an Island in addition to its other types (or maybe both)?
the same apply in reverse order? (cast Aquitect's Will and then Quicksilver Fountain )

Quicksilver Fountain and Aquitect's Will don't have a static ability that applies to all lands with flood counters on them. Rather, they only affect the specific lands that each of them have put flood counters on. If you use them on different lands, their effects don't interact with one another.
If you use them on the same land, it will only be an Island . This is because regardless of what order the effects resolved, Quicksilver Fountain gets rid of the non-Island types. If Fountain is first, there aren't any other types for Will to add to. If Will is first, the other types get wiped by Fountain.
