Flamerush Rider infinite combo?

Asked by thegigibeast 9 years ago

Ok:

I have a Flamerush Rider that I cast for the dash cost, then I pay one red with Flameshadow Conjuring to copy it.

I attack with the two ones. I select each other with the triggers, thus creatinh two others Flamerush Rider.

Can this process be repeated infinitely???

No. Always check the Gatherer rulings before posting a question.

11/24/2014: Although the token is attacking, it was never declared as an attacking creature (for purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example).

The token's ability won't trigger because it never attacked.

A creature "attacks" when it is declared as an attacker. Effects that put a creature onto the battlefield attacking cause that creature to become an attacking creature, but it never attacked because it was not declared as an attacker.

But, to be fair, if you dash Flamerush Rider and put a token onto field with Flameshadow Conjuring, you can get another two token with their abilities, targeting the other Flamerush, giving you four Flamerush Riders attacking, which by any means is not bad. 4 3/3 for 5 mana? Yes please.
