If i have a Favored Hoplite and Hardened Scales, then play Seeds of Strength and target my Hoplite 3 times how many +1/+1 counter does he get?

Gidgetimer, wouldn't Hardened Scales trigger for each separate instance of a +1/+1 counter from Seeds of Strength? Scales doesn't care about how many spells/abilities apply the counters, just how many instances. So in that case, it seems to me that the combo listed above would produce 7 +1/+1 counters on Favored Hoplite

Seeds of Strength does not put counters on permanents. it gives a static buff until EOT. Counters are different than static buffs.

Isn't it still three separate instances of targeting, thus triggering Heroic three times?

Text of Favored Hoplite's ability is
Whenever you cast a spell that targets Favored Hoplite...
As I said in my original answer Heroic can only trigger once per creature per spell because it triggers upon a spell being cast, not upon the creature being targeted. This is further reinforced by the gatherer ruling on Favored Hoplite (and every other heroic creature).
9/15/2013: Heroic abilities will trigger only once per spell, even if that spell targets the creature with the heroic ability multiple times.

He gets two counters. Heroic triggers when you cast a spell that targets the creature. You cast a single spell that targeted Favored Hoplite multiple times and so you get one heroic trigger. When the trigger resolves Hardened Scales turns the one counter into two.
If you cast Common Bond targeting Favored Hoplite both times with Hardened Scales out you would get six counters. Two from heroic and two from each time Common Bond puts a counter on.
