If I make a Sword of Vengeance a creature with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas , can I equip it to itself so it has the abilities on it?

no. rules text says:

212.2i An Equipment that's also a creature can't equip a creature. Equipment that loses the subtype "Equipment" can't equip a creature. An Equipment can't equip itself. An Equipment that equips an illegal or nonexistent permanent stops equipping that permanent, but remains in play. (This is a state-based effect.

no...first of all, you can't equip a creature to a creature

second, i wish equipment could do that, i always wanted a 5/5 with "when this creature does damage to an opponent, destroy all other permanents other than Worldslayer "

Elmarias is correct, because more generally creatures can't be attached to other creatures. There is a similar rule for Auras as well, if an aura becomes a creature it immediately detaches as a state-based action; however, unlike equipments, an unattached aura goes straight to the graveyard as a state-based action. A detached equipment just sits there happily on the battlefield.

No the equipments ability only applies to the equiped creature not if the equipment is a creature and the creature that is a equipment looses the ability to equip to anything
