Dollhouse of Horrors & any commander?

Hi, can't find a confirmed answer anywhere. Best I can understand is that the dollhouse won't copy the commander as it will have moved to command zone as SBA and then the dollhouse can't find the commander in exile to copy it. Is that a correct interpretation?

No, SBAs are checked when a player would receive priority and no one receives priority in the middle of a spell or ability resolving. The Dollhouse exiling and copying the creature are a single ability. You can copy a commander and then still be able to put it into the command zone when SBAs are checked.
Obviously you will have had to declined to put the commander in the command zone when the SBA check happens when it is put into the graveyard in order to be able to target it with the Dollhouse.
