Does Stormbreath Dragon have protection from Imposing Soveriegn's affect?

I'm playing mono white, and Stormbreath Dragon is by far the largest threat against me. I'm not trying to play other colors, mostly because my budget is low. Very low. My deck is doing rather good otherwise at my FNM, So basically, I'm looking for something, anything, that can slow that dragon down. Imposing Sovereign is my best bet, I think, but I am unsure about the ruling here.

CLAMS as was noted in another Q&A, you could use something like Debtor's Pulpit , which can deal with Stormbreath Dragon since the land becomes the source of the tap ability, rather than the enchantment.

Protection prevents D.E.B.T. (Damage, Equip/Enchantment, Blocking, and Targeting). Imposing Sovereign does none of those things; so your opponent's Stormbreath Dragon will come into play tapped if you control a Sovereign.
