Does Start / Finish count as CMC 3 or 6 for Combustible Gearhulk.

So I was playing a game with my Mardu Gearhulks/Refurbish deck. I never thought of this interaction, but does Start / Finish count as CMC 6 or 3 for Combustible Gearhulk's mill trigger?

--The Run Down--

Now, I know they take 5 from the Lili.

But, according to this Rules except from the Wizards' site, the ammount take from the Start / Finish is 6:

"if Destined to Lead isn't on the stack, it has a converted mana cost of 6. Destined on the stack is still a black instant with a converted mana cost of 2, and Lead on the stack is still a green sorcery with a converted mana cost of 4, but Destined to Lead, any time it's not one or the other, is a black and green instant sorcery with a converted mana cost of 6." Please let me know. Otherwise I will be using it as 6 damage.

The stack is the only zone where Start / Finish has a CMC of 3 (or 3, for Finish). In all other zones, including the graveyard, Start / Finish has a CMC of (3+3=) 6.

The same is true of the original split cards and the Fuse cards.

The CMC is 6 because the spell isn't on the stack when it is milled by Combustible Gearhulk. as long as a fuse or aftermath card isn't on the stack, its cmc is equal to the sum of the cmc of the two halves. So, Start / Finish has a cmc of 6 because 3+3=6.

Awesome! Thanks guys. I read the ruling originally, and that is what we went by in the match. Ever since the ruling change I could never figure it out. Marking as closed.
