I was playing on Cockatrice and some guy said its a "base stated" and killed my Predator Ooze with Pillar of Flame
Does it really exile it ?

Lethal damage can't destroy it. Since it isn't being destroyed, it won't go to the graveyard and cannot be exiled instead. Your opponent knows not of what he speaks.

Note that if you have to sacrifice the creature or it dies a different way on the same turn, it will be exiled.

Lethal damage may not be able to destroy the creature, but I was under the impression that if you Pillar of Flame a 3/3 Predator Ooze and then Dismember the ooze, the ooze will get exiled, since it was dealt damage with Pillar, and then died (due to toughness of 0)

I should read the rules better....
"Lethal damage doesnt destroy it"
So.... if it wasnt destroyed, or "died".... cant be exiled.... right ?
