Does Manifesting a card count as casting it?

If I have Animar, Soul of Elements face up on the field and i cast Whisperwood Elemental, when i manifest the top card of my deck that end phase, does Animar, Soul of Elements get a +1/+1 counter?

No, it doesn't. An effect that causes you to cast something will make it clear by using the word "cast" somewhere in the instructions. In this example you're just moving a card from the library to the battlefield. I don't think there are any examples of a Manifest effect that involves casting the card being manifested.
