Does Into the Wilds count as land for turn?

im about 99.9% sure it is, but just so I know for fact.

It does not count as your land for turn. Putting a land on the battlefield is not the same as playing a land, according to the rules.

No it doesn't count as your land for the turn.

Cards that don't use the word "play" and say "put it onto the battlefield" (or some variation). These effects dont count as playing a land, and don't interfere with your normal land drop for the turn. Into the Wilds puts a land onto the battlefield from your library, and you are still able to "play" a land from your hand that turn if you haven't played one yet.

When you "play" a land it means to put it onto the battlefield as a specific action and almost always from your hand, however there are cards that can play cards from other zones like Crucible of Worlds . If a card says the word play, then it is specifying that as your land for the turn.
