Does Day's Undoing + Nekusar the Mindrazer not damage people?

People have told me that Nekusar, the Mindrazer does not damage people when I cast Day's Undoing Because it ends the turn immediately and Nekusar does not get a chance to trigger. Is this correct?

Yes. As part of the workless of ending the turn, all objects on the stack or waiting to go onto the stack are exiled. They don't resolve.
