There's a special rule that says when a land is given a basic type that's not "in addition to its other types" then it loses all other abilities in its printed rules text. Karoo will still enter the battlefield tapped because that ability is applied before it's actually on the battlefield, but the bounce ability won't trigger because it doesn't exist anymore at the time it would trigger.
So yeah, no bounce.
