Do things coe of creatures when they are no longer creatures?

Asked by TheGamer 11 years ago

With the title, it is confusing. But in general, no really.

So, lets say I animate a Keyrune. Then I Cipher Last Thoughts onto it. Will Last Thoughts cipher stay on the keyrune at end of turn?

Or maybe I animate Mutavault and I put a Madcap Skills on it. Will the skills fall off of it at end of turn?

Do you understand what im saying?

since Madcap Skills says "Enchant Creature" on it, than it will definitely fall off your Mutavault when it stops being a creature.

704.5n If an Aura is attached to an illegal object or player, or is not attached to an object or player, that Aura is put into its owners graveyard.

but Last Thoughts is different. It does remain encoded on your keyrune

702.98c The card with cipher remains encoded on the chosen creature as long as the card with cipher remains exiled and the creature remains on the battlefield. The card remains encoded on that object even if it changes controller or stops being a creature, as long as it remains on the battlefield.
