do effects at that say "at the beginning of the end step" not happen with Sundial of the Infinite?

say I have a Sundial of the Infinite out, and play a Ball Lightning does he still sack when i activate sundial's ability? and does he sack at the end of the next end step of your opponents? thanks for the help :)

From the gatherer:
If Sundial of the Infinite's ability is activated before the end step, any "at the beginning of the end step"-triggered abilities won't get the chance to trigger that turn because the end step is skipped. Those abilities will trigger at the beginning of the end step of the next turn. The same is true of abilities that trigger at the beginning of other phases or steps (except upkeep).
Yes, the at the beginning of end step would not happen that turn , but in the case of Ball Lightning , it would die at the beginning of next turn's end step.
