If you would use Venser, the Sojourner his +2 on Djinn of Wishes , would he enter again with 3 wish counters?
Gidgetimer is right. My only addition is that these days, the templating would look like this, if you had to cast it from your hand to get the counters:
"Djinn of Wishes enters the battlefield with three wish counters on it if you cast it from your hand"
Not a big deal, but since so many MTG players like to toy around with designing their own cards/sets, I like to try and keep the current templating a thing people know about.

Yes. Djinn of Wishes has an ability that makes him enter the battlefield with 3 wish counters regardless of where he entered from. If it only functioned from casting it would be templated "When you cast Djinn of Wishes, it enters the battlefield with..."
