Detention Sphere interactions

Please let me know whether I have this correct: if an opponent exiles one of my creatures (and all others with the same name) with a Detention Sphere , then I exile his Detention Sphere with an Oblivion Ring my creature returns to the battlefield (with summoning sickness). Then if my oblivion sphere were to leave the battlefield, my opponent's Detention Sphere returns to the battlefield and can target a new non-land permanent.
The first non-land permanent is a targeted effect, so protection could prevent a Detention Sphere from targeting a creature (e.g. card:Faith's Shield). Would this in turn prevent other creatures of the same name from being exiled, since the enchantment failed to resolve on the first creature? In this case the Detention Sphere would come into play with nothing exiled. Or would only the creature with the card:Faith's Shield be protected and other creatures with the same name would not?
Oh duh... (from http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=detention%20sphere) reading is good:
10/1/2012 The enters-the-battlefield ability has only one target. The other permanents with that name arent targeted. For example, a permanent with protection from white will be exiled if it has the same name as the target nonland permanent.
-so protection doesn't work if it's on the non-target of the same name.
10/1/2012 If the target nonland permanent is an illegal target when the enters-the-battlefield ability tries to resolve, it will be countered and none of its effects will happen. No permanents will be exiled, including those with the same name as the target.
-so protection from blue or white on the target would protect all of the creatures.
Correct?

Correct. Protection from enchantments would also work.
In your scenario, a Detention Sphere that has left the battlefield and then returned will not remember what it previously targeted, and its triggered ability may target any legal nonland permanent.

(assume in the above example, the card:Faith's Shield did or did not have the "Fateful hour" clause activated)
