Crytoplasm and Evil Twin.

Asked by Age 13 years ago

I was wondering, if i copied a crytoplasm with an Evil Twin , my evil twin would gain cryptoplasm's ability correct? + retain it's pay 2 tap to kill ability, correct?

by next turn i should be able to change my evil twin into somthing else because of the crytoplasms ability, yes? If whatever i change my evil twin into, it still retains it's pay two tap to kill, correct? I have a gut feeling the answer is no, because i don't see many evil twin/crytoplasm decks around.

No, the only ability that it retains is the ability to become a new creature.

If two continuous effects would be applied in the same layer (copy effects are layer 1), then you use timestamps to decide which one takes precedence. If you use the Cryptoplasm ability of your Evil Twin copy of a 'Plasm, then the 'Plasm copy effect will have a newer timestamp than the Twin copy effect, and it will take precedence. Your copy won't have the Twin special ability anymore.
