Courser of Kruphix - Play Land Prior to Draw?
Asked by Andromedus 8 years ago
I play Courser of Kruphix. The top card is a land. I haven't played a land this turn so that land goes into play. The next card is also a land. I can't play a land again this turn.
At the beginning of my next turn, the land is still at the top of my deck. Can I play this land prior to drawing my card for the turn, or am I required to draw this land before the Kruphix land-play ability can put it into play?
I know that this card has several questions attached to it and I hate adding to the pile, but I couldn't find this specific question.
If the land somehow has flash, you may still only play it during your main phase (on your turn), when you have priority, but the stack wouldn't have to be empty. So even in a niche circumstance, you'd still have to draw the land before you could play it.

You're only allowed to use the special action of playing a land in your main phases, when you have priority and the stack is empty, so you would have to draw the land before you could play it normally.
