Conspire

The question here is, if I have Wort, the Raidmother on the field and cast Comet Storm what exactly happens? Would the copy deal X damage as the original Comet Storm would, or would it deal X damage as in the mana I had left to activate the X?
Also with Conspire can you copy more than once?
and about the second question i don't believe you can do it more than once because you only cast the spell once so you can only trigger it once.

Thanks, though now I have a secondary question. If it does the same damage, but as conspire states you may choose new targets, do I get to choose the same amount as it were kicked?

Yes. An exact copy of a spell has the same kicks and X payments as the original, and (if you are allowed to choose new targets) can choose the same number of targets as long as they are legal when you choose them.
Therefore, your conspired Comet Storm would deal the same amount of damage to the same number of creatures, but the targets can be different from the original spell.

I believe the Comet Storm s copy would deal the same amount of damage as the original because the X value is copied too
