Darksteel Mutation i have enchanted an edh commander with Darksteel Mutation say i enchanted Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind . what is the cards color identity of the card

Color Identity is only a relevant concept during deck construction.

The Color Identity of Niv-Mizzet is blue and red. Nothing can change that, and nothing changes about what you are or aren't allowed to do if some effect in the game happens to make your commander be another colour.

the question is aimed at if someone bounces all creatures of a certain color

Well Darksteel Mutation doesn't change the colour of the thing it enchants, so Niv-mizzet would still be blue and red in that case, but if you were, say, to cast Deathlace on Niv-mizzet, he would become a black creature, and could die to Cleanse

His colour would be black, but his Colour Identity (which is a specific game term with a specific game meaning for EDH) would stay Blue/Red

"Darksteel Mutation doesnt affect the enchanted creatures colors, if any. It will continue to be whatever color or colors it was before Darksteel Mutation entered the battlefield."
