Card Tap abilities with haste.

If I have a hammer or purphoros on the field, and i play my Elvish Mystic , would i be able to tap it for it's mana ability, or will it just be able to attack since it has haste?

Card with haste don't have summoning sickness, so they can attack or use tap abilities the turn they enter the battlefield. In the case of Elvish Mystic , it can activate the ability or attack (not both).
