Card combination Phalanx Leader + Hardened Scales

Let's say I have Phalanx Leader and another Creature in play in addition to Hardened Scales.
Now I cast Common Bond and select both Creatures as targets. Now phalanx leaders ability Will give itself and the other creature One +1/+1 counter and hardened scales will give each creature an additional counter?
Then when Common Bond resolves each creature gets one +1/+1 counter and hardened scales will grant another? So if not countered the creatures each will have received four +1/+1 counters?

This seems incorrect to me. Casting Common Bond on the Leader will trigger Heroic, giving each creature 2 +1/+1 counters, one of which from Hardened Scales. Then, Common Bond will put two times two +1/+1 counters on the Leader, leaving you with a Phalanx Leader with 6 counters, and each other creature with 2 counters if no creature had counters prior to this.

he only targets the leader once with common bond, and his second creature for the second line. Both creatures end up with four counters.

Oh, that's right - that's the part I was missing :D Guess I couldn't help but think you'd target the Leader twice :]
