Can you use Living Death to bring out Craterhoof Behemoth and him get the benefits of all creatures brought out on the field?

Situation:

With a graveyard filled with creatures, I played living death, bringing out Craterhoof Behemoth and a Quicksilver Gargantuan (among 7 other big creatures, total 9).

I wanted to give CB a bonus of 9+5=14 trample and haste damage and I wanted Quicksilver to be a copy of him and do the same thing, GG.

My opponent disagreed. I humbly await your ruling. Thank you.

I'm not sure what your opponent's objection was, but I can't think of any reason why your scenario wouldn't work. All your creatures enter the battlefield at the same time, so the Craterhoof and its copy would each give all of your creatures +9/+9. Each Craterhoof would swing for 5+9+9= 23 damage, for a total of 46.

@CharonSquared one of the craterhoofs would be a 7/7

However, this wont work how you want sadly. When a clone enters the battlefield it cannot become of a copy of a creature entering with it. The gatherer page from Phantasmal Image covers this: "9/22/2011 If Phantasmal Image somehow enters the battlefield at the same time as another creature, Phantasmal Image can't become a copy of that creature. You may only choose a creature that's already on the battlefield." This is the same for any clone effects.

Actually here is the gatherer quote from Quicksilver Gargantuan : "1/1/2011 If Quicksilver Gargantuan somehow enters the battlefield at the same time as another creature (due to Mass Polymorph or Liliana Vess's third ability, for example), Quicksilver Gargantuan can't become a copy of that creature. You may only choose a creature that's already on the battlefield."
