can Ornithopter attack and let you use ninjutsu

if I have an Ornithopter out, am I correct in thinking that I can attack with it and use it to let me use ninjutsu? It doesn't have to do damage just be an unblocked attacker right? No enchantments or equipment on the Ornithopter .

Ornithopter or any other creature w/ power less than 1 can absolutely attack. And yeah, unblocked creatures work w/ ninjutsu, regarless whether or not they do damage. In fact, the creature w/ ninjutsu HAS to come out before damage is even dealt, as the declare attackers and assign blockers steps both come before assigning damage.

Yep, unless the creature has the trait "Defender" or has something like Pacifism on it, you can still attack with it regardless that it has no power. I don't know what ninjutsu is though, I have never heard of it. But back to the question, you can still attack with the 0/2, although it will assign no combat damage.
