Can I useObzedat, Ghost Council's Effect and Keep it, if I use Whip of Erebos?

This came up the other day, Some say you can others say you can't. So I am not sure.

I'm thinking that since Whip of Erebos imposes a replacement effect that would still apply even if you put your triggers on the stack in the right order, it would be exiled permanently.

Obzedat, Ghost Council

You should always link the cards, so people don't have to go looking them up.

The following entry from the Gatherer addresses your situation:

If a creature returned to the battlefield with Whip of Erebos would leave the battlefield for any reason, its exiled instead. However, if that creature is already being exiled, then the replacement effect wont apply. If the spell or ability that exiles it later returns it to the battlefield (as Chained to the Rocks might, for example), the creature card will return to the battlefield as a new object with no relation to its previous existence. The effects from Whip of Erebos will no longer apply to it.

The only thing you need to pay attention to, is to stack the Whip's delayed trigger and Obzedat's trigger correctly, so that Obzedat's ability resolves first.
