Can I use my opponents Memnarch to retain control?

If I use Ray of Command and take my opponents Memnarch, can I use Memnarch's ability to gain control of itself?

Yes. Memnarch's control-changing ability has no duration. It gives the controller of the ability indefinite control of the target. If you give yourself control of Memnarch, then that ability will have the newest timestamp and Memnarch will remain under your control even after Ray of Command's effect wears off.
