Can i Search For a Card that isnt in my deck?

If i play Spoils of the Vault can i search for a card in my deck that isnt really in there?

Oh, though you have to name a card that is legal for the format you are playing. Can't name force of will in modern

You can name any card you want with Spoils of the Vault and if you name a card that isn't in your deck your entire library will be exiled and you will lose a bunch of life. When you have revealed your entire deck you will lose the life and then you can do other stuff.
EDIT: The card you name has to be legal in the format you're playing in and has to be an actual card.

If you can deal with them being exiled. They go to exile as part of the resolution of the spell

GoblinsInc is right about that. Unless you can do something with exiled cards (ex. Misthollow Griffin or Pull from Eternity) you cannot generally interact with them.
