Can I respond to Delver of Secrets flipping?
Asked by tappedout1234 13 years ago
For example, If, during my opponent's upkeep, he reveals a sorcery/instant, can I respond by playing Virulent Wound and kill Delver of Secrets Flip Flip before he flips?

Once he has revealed the card, the triggered ability has already started to resolve and can not be interrupted. By the time you receive priority, Delver will be a 3/2 and thus out of Wound's reach.

mozerdozer is correct here. You can stop Delver from transforming, but only if you respond before the opponent looks at his top card (and he has to allow you to respond).

Ah, embarrassing. Well, I guess I'll just wait until yeaGO! develops a way to delete your own posts.

Yes, Transforming is a triggered ability that uses the stack and can be responded to. I don't have the actual rule at the moment, it would be helpful if someone could post that rule.
