Can I respond to a Planeswalker being put on the field by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain before they can activate a loyalty ability?

So Sisay, Weatherlight Captain tutors legendaries straight to the battlefield. I know you normally cannot respond before a player activates a planeswalker ability if it is cast from their hand. Does Sisay's ability function differently? Can I bounce or destroy a planeswalker put into play this way before they can activate a loyalty ability?

Just for future reference, you can surround a card's name with double brackets, "[", in order to link the card image to it.

To your question though, no, you realistically can not respond. After a spell or ability resolves, the active player (AP) gets priority. Since your question was specifically about Loyalty abilities, I'm going to assume it is their turn. Since they have priority after the ability from Sisay, Weatherlight Captain resolves, they have the opportunity to activate their Planeswalker before you can do anything. Be watchful though, if they cast anything or activate any non-mana abilities, you'll have a chance to respond before the stack is empty again.

That said, Sisay, Weatherlight Captain might find something like Ambassador Laquatus, who also has an activated ability. The Ambassador might be something that they find outside of their turn. In this case, you might be able to respond. Again, AP will have priority after the Sisay player finds the Ambassador. Then, priority is passed in turn order. The Sisay player can't activate Ambassador until they get priority. So, you get a chance to respond. That said, priority will get to them eventually, so they can still activate the Ambassador.

In essence, there is relatively little you can do in response after a Sisay activation resolves.

Hope this helps!!
