can i play devoid creatures in colorless edh? (new rule 4)

With Rule 4 being removed, if i am running a Karn, Silver Golem as a commander, can i play a Devoid creature in the deck?

one of my friends told me that i might be able to do this because is specify that the card is colorlessbut i think that its not able due to the identity of the card being still colored

Any coloured mana symbol on a card counts for that cards colour identity, regardless of the colour of the card itself. Karn, Silver Golem has no coloured mana symbols on his card, so he is just colourless. Devoid creatures all have a colour identity, so they could not be played in the deck.

Rule 4 did not affect any of the rules for deck construction.
