Can I choose another effect when I copy a charm (or another spell that says "choose one:")?

I'll give you an example: I play a Simic Charm to give my creature +3/+3, and I copy it with Reverberate to target a creature an opponent controls to send it to it's owners hand. Is this possible, or can't I choose again for the copy?

No. You make the choice when you cast the spell. Because you don't cast the copy it has the same mode as the original spell. Seems like you should be able to, but you can't.

One side note: the fact that copies of spells copy all the decisions made for the original is the reason copy effects allow you to change the targets of the copy. Otherwise the copy would have the same targets as the original, and then the copy effect wouldn't be as interesting or useful.
