Can Bloom Tender tap for RGB if Savage Lands is in play?
Asked by alpinefroggy 12 years ago
So I have a Bloom Tender and Savage Lands in play and I tap the Tender for mana.Lets say I only have those permanents on the field. Will Bloom Tender tap for RGB or if not what exactly is the color of Savage Lands?
Colorless. Although, for edh purposes, it's COLOR IDENTITY is RGB.

If those were your only two permanents, Bloom Tender would tap for G because Bloom Tender itself is green. All lands are colorless permanents, regardless of what colors of mana they can produce.

The color of a card (not counting any effects that specifically change color) is defined by the card's mana cost and/or color indicator symbol (the B/G dot on the type line of Garruk, the Veil-Cursed Flip Flip, etc.). Savage Lands is colorless.
