Bruna and Auras: Order of entering cards

Asked by Quickspell 9 years ago

Hi, I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere (I did look!):

When auras enter the battlefield due to Bruna, Light of Alabaster, do they all enter at the same time despite the physical order? Or do I get to pick an order and have, say, Sage's Reverie enter last to benefit from its first ability?..thanks!

Actually they all enter simultaneously, but Sage's Reverie will trigger and see all of the auras attached, even if it is one of the first that you physically put on her.

It's because abilities can't trigger until a spell/ability has finished resolving.

Technical correction: abilities do trigger during the resolution process, but they can't be put onto the stack until after the process is complete. In this case, it doesn't really even matter because Sage's Reverie's ability counts the number of Auras you control that are attached to creatures only as the ability itself resolves. It doesn't check how many such Auras there are at the time of triggering.

Thank you guys. So - just to get it perfectly right:

1) Bruna, Light of Alabaster acts

2) Auras will be attached in any order, including Sage's Reverie

2a) Sage's Reverie's ability will trigger, however it will be put on the stack only after all auras assigned for attachment have been brought into play

2b) Sage's Reverie's ability will be put onto the stack and resolve, providing a card draw for every aura that has been put wihtin the same ability triggering of Bruna.

Thank you!
