Bringer color identity?

Asked by acbooster 11 years ago

This was recently brought up on one of my decklists. I'm running an Eight-and-a-Half-Tails EDH deck and I have Bringer of the White Dawn in there. I didn't think about it at the time, but someone pointed out that its color identity was WUBRG. Is this true?

The Bringer of the White Dawn 's color identity is white. However, it does have mana symbols in its text box that aren't white, which makes it illegal in a Eight-and-a-Half-Tails deck.

williamgp99 is partially incorrect. The Bringer's color is white. It's color identity is all five colors. You cannot run it in an Eight-and-a-Half-Tails deck because EDH deckbuilding is based on color identity.

I wasn't sure because it was an alternate casting cost.
