Bioshift + Corpsejack Menace

Asked by WalzY 12 years ago

If I Bioshift some counters from one creature to another, and a Corpsejack Menace is on the battlefield under my control, will the counters transferred be doubled? e.g. I bioshift 4 counters from one creature to another... does the other creature get 8 counters or 4?

Also, If Corpsejack Menace enters the battlefield whilst a creature with evolve such as Gyre Sage is already on the battlefield, will it evolve twice or just once?

Yes to both. Corpsejack will double counters moved with Bioshift, as Bioshift causes you to remove counters from one creature and place them on another. Corpsejack will also be on the battlefield when the Evolve trigger resolves, so you get double there as well. (I actually answered that second part wrong for someone just before)

He does not Evolve twice but once, but he does get two counters from the one Evolve.

Just wanted to clarify that there is only ONE trigger even though there's two counters put on the creature :)
