artifact lands question?

Ancient Den and the other four of their respective colours is what I'm wondering about
1) do they count towards your one land per turn? (i think yes)
2) can you use cards like Pilgrim's Eye to search for them?

oh, and note that putting a land into play does not equal playing a land. Playing rampant growth will not stop you from playing your land for the turn.

1: Yes. It doesn't matter if it is an artifact land, or any other type of land. If you play a land, it counts towards your limit for that turn.
2: No. The basic land cards are those with the Basic supertype on them (Forest, Mountain, Plains, Swamp, Island, and their snow-covered versions). Since Ancient den isnot a basic land, it can't be searched for with Pilgrim's eye.
