Akroan Crusader + Coordinated Assault + Phalanx Leader

Asked by polyglitch 11 years ago

If you were to play coordinated assault with an Akroan Crusader and a Phalanx Leader out when the soldier token comes out from targeting Akroan Crusader does it get a +1/+1 counter from Phalanx captain's heroic?

You can stack the triggers in any order, so you can put the +1/+1 trigger on first, and then the dude trigger, and the dude will be put onto the battlefield before your creatures get +/1+1

It depends how you stack the triggers. Both creatures' abilities will trigger wen you cast Coordinated Assault. Since you control both abilities, you can choose in which order they are placed on the stack. If you put the Akroan Crusader's ability on the stack after Phalanx Leader's ability, the Crusader's ability will resolve first, and your token will get a +1/+1 counter. If you stack them the other way, it will not get a +1/+1 counter.
