Hi all,
I was just wondering if a hub exists for Persistent Petitioners and/or Shadowborn Apostle decks. I know there are many different variables that go into determining what potential hubs meet the criteria for inclusion on the site, but I was just curious as to whether their should be a hub for these two similar archetypes and why/why not.

That's fair, though I do find the two to function pretty dissimilarly in practice. And I'd argue that, though it is somewhat niche, the petitioners/apostle strategy is fairly popular in Commander, particularly within the more casual set.

I do get that, but all of them do fall under the archetype of tribal. Petitioners fit into either Human/Advisor tribal, Shadowborn are Clerics, and Relentless rats are... rats.
So while they functionally may try to fulfill a different line of play than say your typical goblin deck, in the end its just a tribal specific strategy built around those cards.

And I don't think you can call them new or unique archetypes. The ability they have, to put any number of them in a deck, is not a win condition by itself. One is still Mill and the other is, what?, aggro? Mid-range goodstuff?

MagicMarc you're kind of proving my point here; the Shadowborn Apostles don't really fit into any sort of archetype aside from maybe aristocrats. Either way, I think Massacar had the right of the matter.

It's so niche that I would say it's not really worth distinguishing from "Tribal" as a hub.
