How is Casual and Competitive worked out.

I have several Commander decks I have entered on to this site. But I am baffled how the algorithm works out how competitive decks are. Some of my decks that I would call fairly competitive are given really low numbers, whereas ones I consider more casual have been given the opposite number.

I'm trying to work that out now. I think it's self-selected: if a deck is marked as Competitive, then the cards in the deck are marked as Competitive. If a card is in enough Competitive-marked decks, the algorithm assumes that card is competitive.

Basically, I think the algorithm counts the number of cards in decks other people marked as Competitive. I'm not sure, though.

It's hyper-generalized. It can't identify interactions and synergies.

In general, at least for EDH, you will ALWAYS be aware if your deck is competitive or not. You will never have to wonder.
