New std meta (after m15)

Hey all!
I'm wondering what you think the standard meta will be like after m15 comes out. I'm thinking that GW will be popular. it's already a thing, it uses almost no m14 cards (so big loss there), so m15 can only add. Tell me what you think.
Well, it has never changed much in the past with the introduction of the second Core Set.
We're going from having 7 sets to 8 sets, adding 1 that is half reprints and a quarter bad stuff.

Ah, I'm sorry.
Apparently, after all of these years, I'm still a noob when it comes to standard.
I was under the impression that only one core set could be standard legal at the time.

As a G/W player who pretty much forces it in any given metagame, I would say that prior to rotation it is actually decently strong when build around correctly. My biggest issue with rotation will probably be the loss of Archangel of Thune , who really shines against a lot of decks and can easily win you the game if not unchecked.
In her place come a variety of other options. The new Avacyn, Hornet Queen , the soul of theros possibly, resolute archangel can also help stabilize, etc etc. I think it will depend mostly on the rest of the metagame, but I think the deck is still there.
Also, I just remembered Garruk will rotate...sad....

I think mono green could see a nice boost with Nissa. I'd quite like to build such a deck after rotation. Might buy myself a playset of Nissa depending on price, just in case. Even if I don't run with her, my edh would love her.

Schuesseled: And that's actually the other direction that sort of deck can take. I think you and I are both of the same mindset as of right now. I would really like to play Nissa and Hornet queen and Nylea and....ahh, so wonderful...

Soul of new phyrexia, darksteel citadel and Nissa, worldwaker. All have such great synergy. I'd would definitely run them all, If I went down that road.

Oh, i know and agree, nissa is awesome.
I found a nice mono green shell, and is thinking of building off of it.

Since its really too early to tell with the new blocks so far away. I am still going to make a prediction that mono white, mono green and american control will see a gain in numbers of decks showing up in standard play.

GW will definitely be a thing, I think. We might see some kind of Affinity decks, I think, depending on the cards that sre still to be revealed.

I think its too early to tell. Im liking the way white devotion will look. The new avacyn is pretty cool. Return to the ranks can bring back som good 1 and 2 drops to keep the devotion up. Raise the alarm is pretty good too. Maybe use the new convoke artifact to pump them all up too. It will be pretty awesome
