why wall of omens?

Modern forum

I've been playing kiki-chord since pod being banned, I have a lot of time with this deck, but can't decide on why people run wall of omens, being a 2 drop white card that gives a card. When wall of blossoms is the same card, same effect but it's green, which will help for chord if I need it. Could someone enlighten me?

Wall of Blossoms isn't Modern legal. Wall of Omens is.

...It's not legal? Oops. Played with it in a modern tournament in my local game shop in my sideboard two months ago. Guess I won't do that again.

Yeah, that's a whoopsie.

Why is Wall of Omens so darned expensive though? Where does it see competitive play? Doran?

JakeHarlow Kiki-Chord and it spiked from about $1.50 a month ago. A buyout. Hit like $10, and it's slowly coming back down as it can't sustain that price.

Interesting...well, time to dig my copies out from the depths of my carefully organized (yeah, right) bulk storage.
