What are the odds that Liliana of the Veil will get banned?

I've heard a lot of talk amongst other players that because of the incredible card advantage it gives and it's prevalence in Jund/rock/black based control decks, Liliana of the Veil has a very good likelihood of being banned someday down the road. Any opinions on the odds of this eventually happening in 1-2 years time?

I just can't wait to test her out with the card waste not from m15!

I can't see her ever being banned because most decks can kill her fairly easily as she can't defend herself constantly and the decks that can't kill her are for the most part degenerate combo decks that Wizards doesn't like anyway.

She has zero impact on the format. Theres no reason for her to get banned.

I wouldn't say she has zero impact, she is awesome. But there is absolutely no reason to ban her. If she ever was banned, I would be angry, not because I play her, but because that would just be wrong.

Considering she got worse and is seeing less play after the banning of Deathrite Shaman , I think she's safe and won't be banned.

I would put my cards down and step away from magic if they banned lili, not just because of the loss off lili, but because that would be a 3rd stab on jund decks, and it would just be outrageous to take something else away from them.
I highly doubt she will get banned though. She is great but not overpowered. I would even venture to say that in a few years, if we keep getting more planeswalker removal, JtMS could be unbanned. Modern would need a 2 drop, instant speed removal spell for planeswalkers, that is relatively splashable in several decks. Id say thats not out of the question, given the current trend.

1%, at best she is disruption against combo/ pitching cards to reanimate at worst she is an edict + a fog. 1bb is a fairly restrictive casting cost making it so she cant just be thrown in any deck like deathrite could.

Banning is not (normally) about strait-up power level, but what the card would do to the format. For example, deathrite was banned because it made splashing green or black the right choice, almost regardless of the archetype. There was no reason not to play it. Lili, on the other hand, needs commitment to a grindy, black heavy deck. She will not see play in the whole range of control through burn like deathrite did.

Yeah, Liliana of the Veil isn't near JtMS's power level. Note that every deck that has black in it isn't running Lili. But if JtMS was unbanned, every blue deck that could run him, would. All planeswalkers generate some kind of insane advantage, but Liliana of the Veil isn't THAT advantageous to warrant a ban.

I think Lili is just as good as it is because it's a 3-drop that can, with the right protection (and given a few turns), greatly impact the game.

It's low. Whilst very strong she doesn't have a powerful, repeatable way of protecting herself (her sacrifice ability can only be used every few turns). She's not a broken card.
