WHY does Armada Wurm look like a penis?

I'm asking this question in all seriousness. OK, maybe not all seriousness. We all know it does. The question is, why?
Personally I think Wizards have conspired to elicit titters from those of us with immature senses of humor. Because none of us who play Magic: The Gathering ever laugh at wiener jokes. Or draw wieners on cards we lose playing Ante League.
To wit:
Armada Wurm = G/W
Corpsejack Menace = B/W
Junk = B/W/G!
Is that why the wurm has a helmet?

To be fair, Armada Wurm is a callback to Siege Wurm , so it's calling back to art from the original Ravnica block. Kinda like the "condom ghosts" like Vassal Soul are based off the original art of Soulsworn Jury and stuff.
So yeah, unfortunate that Ravnica has penis wurms and condom ghosts.. No idea about the vaginal Corpsejack Menace but hey, even Doctor Who fell into that trap once.

I dunno if you've seen any lady parts lately, but it does not look like Corpsejack Menace last time I checked.
I don't there there is any kind of conspiracy going on here. I mean, it's not like there are animals in real life that look like genitalia that people laugh about (Look up the geoduck).

Some people do, some people don't. It's jsut a quirk of how people see art. Hell, some art I can barely work out what I'm looking at, most recently Spawn of Rix Maadi .

Thats funny and I do agree. My fiday night magic group had this discussion as well and we all agree its looks like a dick, lol.
