My buddy and I were talking about our decks and he said I should call mine Junk Ooze, and I've seen other decks referred to as Junk but what does it mean?

That's what I saw zandl say too, but I've also seen people refer to non-traditional decks as Junk.

Its sometimes referred to a meta hate deck.

I'd always thought it was a kind of all-the-good-stuff deck. Like the most hard to deal with creatures in standard (within 3 colours) with no real synergy. Usually B/G/W (i.e. Doran, the Siege Tower 's colours.

@MindAblaze!: I believe it refers to a pro player who did well in a company and when asked, he said that his deck was a bunch of "junk cards" which did well. His deck was GWB, and thus I believe that's why GWB Goodstuff has commonly become known as Junk.

Listen to Dallie. I don't know if the explaination is correct, but Junk is GWB.

i think a homebrew of stuff can be jank. but junk is the color combination. not to be confused but the current standard junk decks you see are "good stuff" bc between the colors youre using the best stuff anyways.
