I was wondering...

If I had 30 cards in my graveyard, and I had The Mimeoplasm in the yard along with Lord of Extinction , would The Mimeoplasm enter the battlefield with however many +1/+1 counters on it equal to the # of cards in my graveyard because I exiled Lord of Extinction ? Thanks!!

Yes.

Lord of Extinction 's P/T is determined by a characteristic-defining ability, or CDA. CDAs function in all zones, so when Lord of Extinction is exiled by The Mimeoplasm , The Mimeoplasm 's effect will see the current P/T of Lord of Extinction .

Yes, Lord of Extinction 's power is set in all zones, not just when it's in play.
