So basically, I need someone who is good with the rules to solve my shroud question.

I'm playing a tempered steel deck I put together, and my win condition is using indomitable Archangel, then copying it with Phyrexian Metamorph. With all of my artifacts having shroud, is it just my opposition who can't target my artifacts? For example, with shroud ability, can I sacrifice my own Artifact creature with Altar's reap to draw cards?

Nothing can target a permanent or player with shroud.

card:Altar's Reap does not target.

702.17a Shroud is a static ability. "Shroud" means "This permanent or player can't be the target of spells or abilities."

114.9a Just because an object or player is being affected by a spell or ability doesn't make that object or player a target of that spell or ability. Unless that object or player is identified by the word "target" in the text of that spell or ability, or the rule for that keyword ability, it's not a target.

HEXPROOF is the ability that means only your opponents can't target your stuff just so you know. as for example Dungrove Elder has hexproof so you can target him but your opponents cannot. but something like Inkwell Leviathan can't be targeted by anyone.

that clears it up a bit better. One last question, im still pretty new to mtg. If i have tempered steel on the board, but an ability triggers shroud, do my artifact creatures lose the +2/+2 from tempered steel?

Tempered Steel does not target so all your guys are still going to get +2/+2 unless the Tempered Steel is removed or the creatures stop being artifacts
